Would a Bushmaster Carbon 15 lower make a reliable platform for building a dedicated .22 AR? What would be the pros and cons as oppossed to an aluminum lower?

Would a Bushmaster Carbon 15 lower make a reliable platform for building a dedicated .22 AR? What would be the pros and cons as oppossed to an aluminum lower?

From a fellow C-15 owner. Yes, a C-15 will make an excellent .22LR platform.
Pros: super light weight, more durable, no need to worry about rust/scratches
Cons: Hard to find 22LR uppers for the C-15
