nice build. If i couldn't do the job with a shoulder shot i wouldnt use the round. I agree, good excuse to build an AR. Only thing I've used on a yotes was my dad's 25-06, the scope was crap but the rifle did more then i needed it to.

i got the rifle in a trade, it was built by someone else i cant take any credit for the build it is the OLD nodak reciever. you cant get the ones with the rear ar sight anymore.

as for the ammo, the gun room in elk grove has some. otherwise i have been buying it online.

i havnt tried larger then 10rnders yet but they work in the stock ones. im assuming they would work in the larger capacity too since they work in the other stock ones

thanks everyone for your comments! i took the pictures down because i didnt want to cause any problems, but they where takn last yr durring season and the only reason i wasnt all "geared" up with vest and all is because it was on my friends private property so we "didnt need too".

Killer rifle and shots brotha. Thats strange how the eyeballs werent popping out of the rabbits eye sockets. They tend to do that when I get head shots with my .22. Very very nice. How much did the rifle itself cost you to build?

I would remove the pics of you holding that canvasback, not only are you not allowed to shoot waterfowl with a rifle your clothing would also suggest that you killed it out of season, and as a migatory game bird it is protected.
