    M&P 15-22 Range Report

Ok, after waiting outside the door to Big 5 this morning, they finally opened and I picked up my 15-22 . I took it home and cleaned it. IMPORTANT: make sure to clean your 15-22s out of the box before shooting. The trigger assembly had metal shavings and the barrel and bolt were both dirty. After cleaning it up I took it out to Shooter's Paradise (indoor 25yd range).

The iron sight did need to be adjusted and after a few rounds I finally got it dialed in pretty good. I shot 250 rounds of Aguila Interceptors, damn good ammo. I now highly recommend this ammo to everybody. I've never felt as big of a recoil from any other .22 ammo, and it was pretty loud too. The only drawback is that it is kinda dirty, but the 15-22 is so easy to clean it's worth it.

250 rounds 40gr. round nose Aguila Interceptors

    0 - FTF
    0 - FTE
    0 - Stovepipes
1 - FTL (my fault, didn't seat a couple rounds properly. Unloaded mag, reloaded properly, 100% ok.)

UTG 25" case. Can't say enough about it, great for that low-profile look if you have nosy neighbors like me.

    Aguila Interceptors. Favorite ammo.

25yrds out, getting her dialed in. 10 rounds per target.

Nice. CCI minimags are great for that too.

The more you shoot your M&P15-22, the more you're going to like it. I have 2 of them and they are my favorite 22 rifles.

I have two now too. Awesome little rifle despite all the complaints from the unlucky ones who got bad ones.
