Smith and Wesson Warranty

I blew out my extractor on my M&P 15-22 and am sending it back for repair. They want the magazine with shipped also. I was in Reno using my "standard capacity magazine", which I keep in a rebuild kit when in CA.
What if I send them the mag kit with instructions on how to ship it back to me in a "kit". Any problems with this?

I was thinking of placing this in the bag with the mag rebuild kit.

This magazine needs to be returned in a magazine rebuild kit, or separated in parts as it was delivered to you. The standard capacity magazines are illegal in California, but legal to posses as rebuild kits and can be used out of state.

Please Advise.

what is it with these all these clones breaking!!?? Seems like all of them have issues.

My bad, I used some old Remington ammo, besides that no problem

same thing happened to me. i sent back my pinned mag and they sent me back a high cap mag. when i sent it back or the second time (i just didn't like the way it was firing. they ended up updating all the springs) i didn't send them my mag but they returned it with one, another high cap. they did however send me 2 10/25 mags after i complained about it.
