Light Weight .22

Can anyone recommend some light weight .22 rifles / pistols for someone who is unable to carry/hold a moderate weight firearm? The lightest that I know of so far are the Glock with the Advantage Arms .22 kit and the S&W 317.

Thanks for the replies. The 317 is the first choice but the AR-7 looks interesting and that front sight really stands out. Does anyone know if the AR-7 works well or if it has a reputation for being less than reliable?

If you can find one...a Remington model Nylon 66..lighter than a bb gun.Problem is finding someone who wants to part with one

For the rifle, Kel-Tec SU-22. My daughters like mine very much. The AR-7's reputation for reliability is, to say the least, less than stellar.

For the pistol, it's hard to beat the 317 (revolver), Walther P22 (semi-auto).

There are several incarnations of the AR-7. Most have not performed admirably. However, the photo I posted is of the NEWLY REDESIGNED Henry AR-7. Unfortunately since no one has bought one and reviewed it yet, we're not sure if it's an improvement over the older version.

We also don't know if the new design is just cosmetic, or if they functionally made it better. Hopefully the latter.
