    SIG 522 Magazine Compatibility

Anyone know if this magazine is compatible with the SIG 522:

All of the other 10-round magazines I've seen for the SIG522 are shorty versions.

      It's black dog... it's made for an AR15... and it's in .22LR. There isn't a reason it wouldn't work.

They are two different magazines, I wish they did. Do a google search for images, there is speculation that a small pocket can be done with a dremel tool in the lower and they might fit.

I have 5 BD M261 mags and am ordering a 522 on Tuesday, and that's what I found on the internet.

Compare it to the pic of the magazine standard for the 522:

The feed "tower" (don't know how else to describe it) on the M261 mag appears to be further to the right and shorter than the regular BDM mag.

Guess I'll just buy a couple and report back...unless Jim McCoin beats me to it.

Well, I want a green one, no telling how long that will take
