    Archangel Kit for 10/22

What are your opinions on the Archangel Kit for the Ruger 10/22.
Pros and cons to installing on a 10/22.

    Accuracy?

Can the kit be installed without removing my stock front & rear sights?

Or should I buy a 2nd Ruger 10/22 dedicated to the Archangel Kit.

Anyone have pics of their conversion.

      UXO2,
      Thanks for the informational link.
The Tommy Gun version and the Nordic Components
      look pretty cool.

I was looking for something lighter in weight than the
Butler Creek Stainless Steel folding stock that I currently have
      on my Ruger 10/22.

I've played with a couple 10/22's in Archangels, and in my opinion it's a steaming pile of crap. I really don't understand why anyone in their right mind, or with a modicum of taste would waste their money on one.

        I'd rather buy airsoft.
        Please read the Calguns Wiki
Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

Still, my knee-jerk reaction when I see tacticool'd 10-22's is to increase the distance between me and them.

I don't find myself thinking, "wow, that guy must be a safe and excellent marksman."

As you can tell in the photo, I already bought it.
But I was debating whether to install on my existing 10/22
or if I should buy another 10/22 to install if there where more
              positive reviews.

I did not want to remove my rear sight to install the Archangel Kit.

Other option would be to return for my money back at Big 5.

I just bought a nice used Ruger 10/22 with a Simmons scope
              at Wild Bill's today.
It looks too nice to use for a Archangel conversion.

              What a day!
I then went across the street and bought two single shot .22 rifles for my granddaughter at The Gunroom.
A pink Crickett and a Henry with high visability sights.
I had great customer service there by John.

I'll try to return the archangel kit.

Now for the 10-11 day waits.

The female manager at Big 5 on Florin was great!

I forgot to bring my receipt but she checked my checkbook
transaction and her records in the office to confirm my
purchase and gave me a full refund.

Five stars for customer service at Big 5 Sporting Goods on Florin.

I finally saw one of these out at the range last week. Looked pretty sweet and very good quality! I've just added it to my wish list.

Heres mine that I just built. Its wearing a tactical solutions bull. The barrel is very light compared to an all steel bull. But you do pay a price for it being so light. Don't bother putting on the cheap slipover flashhidermagigger, its hideous and you have to remove your factory sights to do so. I built it as a trainer to mimc the ergonomics of my other rifles. Cheers.
