If you are gonna go through all the hassles of single shot exemption, why not do it with a regular AR pistol and either swap the upper, or use a .22 conversion...

Yeah I wanna look like a total kick *** high speed low drag operator, all tacticooled out with my 10 shot RIMFIRE. last time I checked this is the RIMFIRE forum right? If i wanted to talk about the unavailabiltiy of CENTERFIRE ar pistols or extol their virtutres over a RIMFIRE ar pattern pistol I really should'nt do it in the RIMFIRE forum right? Sheesh

As far as why not just getting a rimfire pistol? I already have plenty of those but I want some of these.

Like I said I already have AR's and AR pistols, and RAW's and now I want one of these, for some reason I'm on a rimfire kick and these are the first of the rimfire clones that has caught my attention and now they say I cant have it.

So in short thanks for the suport that seems to have become typical for the forum as of late and feel free to flame awy to your hearts content .

Send one to Quentin Laser, BB a sled in it, and send it to a friendly FFL as a single shot exemption unless there is a barrel length problem. Get it here take off sled and BB and have fun. Drop test and 25 round magazine is why S&W does not offer this here... The other states listed as not available have mag capacity restrictions and or additional pistol restrictions as well.
