    Rebuilding Ramline and Eaton Mags

    I have two Ram-Line mags for my 10/22, a 30rd and a 50rd. And I also have a Eaton Supply 25 rd mag.

I took them apart, cleaned and lubed and they're still not working well. Weak tension is my guess.

What are my options on rebuilding. Anyone have any updated/relatively new ideas on this?

    Thanks.

I did do a search and found older threads on this, but nothing really helpful there and wondering if maybe there are new advances in this arena:

Here are some pictures of my attempts, the feed lips might be a bit worn too, so the body would need to be replaced as well.

    "springs" more like ribbons:

    lubing the internal follower/body contact:

    taped up:

I like this idea, but nothing came of it, though I'll PM the OP and see as well soon.

my eatons have been lead shavers since day one

i figure maybe one day i'll rebuild them with tactical innovations kits if my butler creeks die

the eatons seemed to come apart easily though

funny i have one clear on one side and black on the other and the other is black on one side and clear on the other

i have a couple ramline 30s and never use them i had a 50 but it broke after one brick back in the day and ramline sent me 2 25s i traded those to a tec-22 owner for butler creeks that didnt work in the intertech he was happy since the ramlines have built in ejectors and i'm happy cause well the hotlips have been flawless this was long ago

i think the springs in the eaton go in the opposite way of ramlines and butler creeks

and the lip module is not compatable with butlercreek or tac innovation
