    1-4x Scope for MP15-22

I searched for scope in the rimfire section but still couldn't get a good answer.

So this is what I was looking into. I want a 1-4x variable power scope for my MP15-22 around the $100 mark. I'm hoping the scope can still have an eye relief that would still let me be able to have fast sight acquisition (not sure if thats the right term) similar to a red dot but also good enough to do 25 to 50 yard bench shooting.

Also if you have any scope recommendations, can you also let me know what size mount would be compatible?

    thanks

Primary Arms is a +1, also the vortex but its an x2 not x4, i dont feel to confident in the facog's, a friend has one on a 223 and it comes lose after a few shoots, not a 22 wont produce the same recoil, so mileage varies on the thought.

I was on SWFA's website the other day and they had a 1-4x scope similar to the Primary Arms offering for sale for $99. I believe it was a Vortex Crossfire model. Looked similar to my friend's Konus 1-4x.

...an eye relief that would still let me be able to have fast sight acquisition...
If your intent is to aid Fast Sight Acquisition by mounting the scope farther forward, key words to look for in the scopes are
"intermediate eye relief", possibly "long eye relief scope", or "scout scope"

I hope this helps your search.
Depending on how far forward you want to mount your scope, you may want a pistol scope (designed for long eye relief). There are several in the price range you mentioned (or less than $50 if you just want something to play around with to decide if that's how you want to set things up). All but the crappiest airgun scope should be able to hold a zero on a 22LR rifle.

Thanks. I was looking into the PA 1-4x,since I already have a Micro Dot and I'm happy with the quality. Im going to look into that Vortex, but I believe its a 1.5x not a true 1x right?
