    Marlin 981T availability

Looking for info on the Marlin 981T. Who has em normally? Bass Pro? Are they pretty good? I was looking at a Glenfield Model 25 for my son but after shipping, fees, and driving 70 miles twice for the transfer, I think just getting a modern gun locally would be just as good.

I assure you that the person who picks up the last one in the store when you finally find it won't be me, or will it. I've been thinking a lot about the 981T as well. I was actually going to post about where to get one near my area (or within an hour or two's drive), but went off to get something to eat and find your. I'm going to wait until I stumble upon one or when they're available via galley of guns. Good luck with getting one.

They are great, fun rifles. Can shoot .22short, .22long, .22LR, CB short & long.

You can find them at www.budsgunshop.com for $176 All Day Long.

I paid $150 for mine a couple of years ago at Turners.
