Kidd trigger in SR-22

I want to put a Kidd trigger in my SR-22.

In the reviews, it says it does not fit in the SR-22. I read elsewhere that the gun needs to be modified for it to work. Does anyone know what the extent of the mods are? I do not want to void my warranty...

Volquartsen triggers are single stage.
They are the same design as a normal 10-22, just better parts and some adjustment screws added for tuning.
If you want a really good trigger, look at the Kidd.

ar - I want a really good trigger, but kind of wanted the single stage(vq)... Plus, for 185 i can get the vq. for the 2 stage kid at 300+ is it really all that much better?

Ordered it up... They will bevel the trigger housing to fit the SR-22. CANT WAIT!!!

Here is a picture of the trigger as is came from kidd. They said they would mill it so that it would fit the sr-22. I am assuming that the silver shiny area is the milled section specific for my sr-22 but I am not 100% sure. The lower would not fit to the upper on the first install try. It might have fit if the top sight rail was pulled off and everything reinstalled, however I wanted to be able to break this gun down without taking the top rail off, so more mods were needed.


After looking at my old one and the gun, I realized i needed a little more of a bevel on the end of the milled radius. I took the dremel out and rounded everything off a bit, right at the apex of the radius only. After lots of back and forth fitting, i finally got it together and raced to the range!


Shoots great! I LOVE the 7oz first stage and 14 oz second. My groups havent really changed, but its a step in the right direction...
