Ruger m77-22 compared to Anshutz 22

Does the ruger 22 bolt gun compare well accuracy wise to say, an old Savage Anshutz 22 with the model 64 action? I had a Savage/Anshutz .22lr and it was way more accurate than me!

I have the early Ruger M 77-22, My old Ruger M77-22 is a good plinking gun with good strong action. The accuracy of the 77-22 is around 3/4 to 1 inch at 50 yards. I have change out the barrel to a 20" bull green mountain flute stainless steel barrel and now shoots less than 1/2" constantly at 50 yards.
