    Speed strip for .22LR revolver

Does anyone make a Speed Strip (not speed loader) for .22LR?

Bianchi is only .38/.357 and .44/.45.

Any idea if one can be home made, and how?

    Thanks

How about cutting up an old mouse pad into strips and punching some holes in it? The cartridge would not fall thru because of the rim but there should be enough give in the mouse pad to push the round thru.

I imagine you could make one out of strips of inner-tube.

Stop by a motorcycle shop and dumpster dive for various thicknesses.

I don't think anything strong enough to hold them in your pocket will work well. Anything that will pop out easily in the cylinder will pop out in your pocket.

      Good luck.

Thanks, guys. I had been thinking of hard rubber that wrapped around the rim and was contoured to hold each shell in a particular place.

But just punching holes in softer rubber might work really well. Strong enough to hold onto the shells, but flexible enough to stretch around the rim when pressing it into the cylinder.

This isn't for pocket carry, it is for someone to use with poor dexterity (arthritis) to encourage them to practice at the range more often.

I've lots of spare inner tube material (useful stuff to keep around). I'll let you know how it works out.

I make my own holsters with a product called Wonderflex. It's similar to Kydex. I used a scrap piece of it for a speed strip. I used a rotary punch that I use for leather, using the largest hole punch.
The hole is smaller than the .22, but the cartridge fits nicely. As you put the cartridge in the cylinder, just a small amount of twisting of the strip will let the rim slip through the hole.

It only comes in white but can be painted. It can be made to hold as many rounds as you want.
To make for other calibers, sharpen the edge of an empty cartridge case and use it as a template or to punch the holes, by hitting it with a rubber mallet.

I have several different sizes / calibers of the Tuf Strips and they are great!
