So now I'm torn. Archangel kit or. nordic components for my 10/22? I see pros and cons for both. Any suggestions?

The Archangel is a plastic POS. You couldn't PAY ME to install it on one of my guns.
The Nordic is a very nicely machined all-metal kit that allows you to use standard AR furniture.
Do it right, do it once, get the Nordic.Please read the Calguns Wiki

cheap(er) vs kinda pricey
better feel with the nordic and you can use your favorite rail with the nordic kit and your favorite stock.

There are two great 10-22 conversion kits worth owning and they are heavy duty metal affairs -- no plastic -- 1) the fungun 10-22 Thompson kit --
and the Nordic kit - which Ruger liked enough to put on the guns they brand "SR-22"
Either one of these kits (depending on whether you want new tactical or OLD SCHOOL tactical) will make you VERY happy...Comment

So I can use it with a 16" bull barrel, my choice of stock and grip and still be CA compliant. Can I put any rails on it? Does the kit just drop in?Comment
