    Umarex mp5 clone

    Hey Guys,

I'm trying to track down two rifles that, "I just have to have" ! ! The rimfire is an Umarex mp5 clone with a fake can and retractable stock. Does anyone have any info on it? I prefer it's design over the GSG.

The net and blogs were pretty bare on it. I saw an add for it in my Shotgun News...

Does anyone here have one or have a friend with one? Also, do you know of a store in Caly that has one, please let me know.

Don't think it's been released to the public yet...?

I wonder if they are going to run into the same problem with HK as GSG did.

None of the H&K licensed Umarex/Walther .22LR clones have been released to the public and no release time frame has been given.

In the mean time, you can currently get the H&K licensed Umarex airsoft clones that the .22LR clones are being based off of.
You can even order them off of H&K's webstore.

i wonder how the performance will be compared to the GSG. Honestly, beside the stock, whats the difference between the GSG and the Umarex? (beside the licensing and im assuming markings from HK)

Im picking up my GSGSD on thursday and cant wait to hit the range!

I myself am waiting for the trademarked Umarex MP-5, the one with a replica Knights Armament suppressor. I hope it will be improved from the GSG's. But as Unamused said it might just be the externals that are different. We'll see.
