    Sorry...that one is fugly.

I think the Umarex 416 pistol is a lot better looking.

My friends and family disavow all knowledge of my existence, let alone my opinions.

Interesting... I was thinking about a pistol AR. And this would be good 'cause I already have mags for the full-sized one. Hmm, then I could stick that pistol upper onto my S&W MP-15rifle and create a mini-carbine. Kind of like Willem Dafoe's at the ending scene of "Clear And Present Danger", lol.

As long as you realize that doing so without the proper paperwork (which you can't get in California) means that you are committing a felony.

Aww cr*p-had a feeling it was NFA. I thought it was only bad if you put a forehand grip on an AR pistol. So no go for stocks on .22 AR pistols-I love you California.

The Umarex 416 is cool looking, lets hope they learned from their Colt M4 experience and designed this one better.

I think that won't be the case. Looks like the Umarex 416 .22 will have the same Walther/Colt M4 functions and not like a real M4. It'll be the same but the externals will look like the H&K 416.

Super Cool!!! Anyone know if the barrel being 6" will that be an issue to register these as Single Shot? Or because it's a Rimfire does that not matter?

It is too bad we would still need a bullet button and be limited to 10 rounds.

Yes it sucks, but I've came to grips with that. Any thoughts on the 6" barrel?

Shouldn't be an issue. Would just need a magazine lock and a single shot sled.

Below is the PC for the single shot roster exemption.
                          Penal Code 12133
                          (b) The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to a single-shot pistol with a barrel length of not less than six inches and that has an overall length of at least 10 1/2 inches when the handle, frame or receiver, and barrel are assembled.

It says in the ad they are coming out in April of 2010. Well, I called them and they said it would be April 20. When I told them that was my birthday, they said they would send me one at no charge as a gift, so word of mouth will get out about how good it is.

I thanked them very much and can't believe they are doing this.

                            You shouldn't either.
