    Walther P-22

My Bro in Law in Oregon has a P-22 with a suppressor he bought as a package. His has a factory threaded BBL with a thread cap when no can is used. I looked at it while there and it has 2 flat spots on the thread cover that fits wrench that came with it to remove it when using the can.

I looked at one here in Calif and it also look like it had a thread cover on it but no flat spots for the wrench. Clerk said this was a "CALIF" model.

how is that cover attached I could see the cut line around the BBL. ??????

They glue them on. This was awhile back but the DOJ did no knocks on CA P22 owners and had them send back to Walther for the fix.

      P-22

I know about the past problems. I was wondering about the new ones being sold today. As I said at the front of the BBL you can see the tip has a recessed cut all around the barrel by does not have the 2 flats edges for the wrench. Are solder on or glued or ?????

      Does anyone know?????

        Most likely silver soldered...
