    S&W 22A

Trying to get feedback on these. They look pretty cool just don't know too much about them. Thanks.

I have one that works flawlessly and I got it used, on the cheap! It's a great little handgun to pack around, very lightweight and fairly accurate. I think a lot of people don't like them and have had problems with theirs, but I like mine... just gotta watch out for flying parts when you break it down!

The S&W 22A is a good value. It is not a high end target pistol but a decent target plinker.
It is easy to take down and clean. If you want, do it the first time in a dry cleaners bag. Do it once and you will see how easy it is to clean. It is easy to do without parts flying. The grip trigger group stays pretty clean.
The down side is that there is little aftermarket support for grips and trigger mods. The rail is a little whack for the cheap red dots. Separate scope ring mounts work fine it is the cheap dots with the built in mount that don't work well. There is a small white plastic recoil buffer that needs replacement. They are cheap and you can get them from S&W free or from Brownells or Numrich for cheap. Keep a straight unkinked recoil spring in it.
Lots of fun for the money.
