To putting a factory Ruger 10/22 magazine back together? OMG I'll never take one apart to clean again! Im thinking there has to be a certain way to do it that involves a lot less cussing.

HELP! Is There A Secret To......

I've never actually done it myself, but whenever I "clean" my magazines, I just take a q-tip and some solvent, and clean the lip area, and whatever soot I can get to easily with the q-tip. I also give the exterior a quick wipe down. -
Just remember to pretension the spring and make sure the end of the spring goes hole in the body of the magazine.

I Got It!!!
Thanks guys for the help and the link to the video. I was making it harder than it needed to be by trying to overwind the spring. I wasn't sure how much tension the spring needed to have since when I took it apart, my finger slipped of the nut and took off spinning like a top on the floor.
