    GSG AK-47

Does anyone know if these can take real AK handguards and stocks?

Anyone have them, and if so, how do you like them?

At first I didn't care for them, but now that WASR-22s are $500 plus and impossible to find, I am considering getting one.

I would wait until the prices simmer down, whenever that may be. I don't have any experience handling an AK style .22LR rifle, but I have shot the $600 M4 style .22LR

      My opinion: meh

What's your location? I found a good one for you

A few months ago, Turners had the GSG Kalashnikov on sale for around $300.

It was $359, and that's a good price. There are some accessories out for the GSG Kalashnikov now. Black polymer stocks sets, scope mounts, and a "Krinkov" type folding stock.

I'm selling mine to finance another purchase. I bought both this and Colt M4 22lr last year. Both are great, very fun to shoot. Tactical 22lr introduces a whole new level of fun (yet still affordable) to rimfire shooting.

I think if you already own centerfire AK or AR, rimfire AK/AR are great additions as training tools and ammo saving "simulators".

Not sure but you might try "airsoft" accesories for the GSG AK-47. A lot of those accesories work for the GSG MP-5.

Could pick a new one up for $500. Would come to be the same when I ship it.

Does anyone know if it will meet OAL requirements with a Krinkov type stock?

The stock is made out of a soft wood I dont really like it. Would be nice to use genuine AK parts on it that would improve it I think. I much prefer GSG5

Get a WASR22 and you will be able to put any stamped receiver stock set you would like since its a real AK and not some odd sized clone like the GSG

I handled one at my local gun shop and it felt like a toy compared to my Romanian trainer AK. It had lots of plastic on it, more airsoft than rifle.
