Walther SP22's

So who hear has one? Likes and dislikes?

I swear I want one of these M3's. Saw one of these in a gun store in the South Bay. (Gun Vault) I think. Wish I would have checked it out more to see how it felt. Site says not available in CA but they had two of them. Don't think manufactures update CA status much. It's definatly an aquired taste look though LOL.

May end up getting one of these, if I end up getting tax money back through the new car tax write off deal for 2009 new vehicle purchases. Normally I would owe money but not this year. Will have to make a deal with myself that I can only get one if i get rid of another gun first.

I dont like the way these load. I like the p-22 more. I dont see the advantage of this design.

I dont see the advantage of this design.

the grip allows lower mounting of the barrel for decreased muzzle flip due to lower bore line.

the lower recoiling mass directs recoil into the hand/arm and allows a quicker return to target

i think the SP22 is an excellent "club gun" before moving up the ladder to competitive pistols

I have a good one already a Smith & Wesson 2206 stainless with 6" barrel. Just maybe looking for a 2nd .22 toy.

The Beretta target 87 looks nice as hell but it's too much for me to want to spend on a .22 pistol.

I have a P22 and think it's a nice, light, compact little plinker. However, having just lost a front sight I don't like the plastic insert front sight setup. I like to shove pistols in my back pocket.

SP-22 feels so nice, never shot one, but very nice feel, probably does not move much when fired, they come in short and long slide versions

and not very reliable..

heard the same about several of the auto 22's..

who else can pitch in to the comparison?

hmmm.. maybe that's been the problem all along.. the rest of them don't have enough rail on them..

Just got one of these for my GF. She wanted a .22 pistol and I couldnt beat the price. Hope it works decent

Weird.

The Walther SP22-M1 and SP22-M2 are on the Roster but the M3 and M4 are not. The only difference between the M2 and M3 is the M3 has Pic. rails already installed from the factory.
