SIG 522/Range testing/No BREAKIN required!

I just went thru about 500 rds of 2 types of WIN bulk ammo and 50 rds
of CCI Stingers.


I had exactly 4 failures to fire,everything else went very smoothly. I went
to set up a target to zero.While waiting for a ceasefire,I started plinking
steel @35 yds---GEEZ the MI BUIS were "DEAD ON" (a little low @ 50yds
but very doable),consistently hitting the small hangin steel 9/10 times,even
@100 with some holdover could hit 5 out of 10 on the small hangars.These
rifles are extremely accurate. The 3lb trigger is a big help and I like the
WEIGHT--you squeeze off a round,you see it hit and the sites have NEVER
moved from the prior shot. The original SIG mag is very "tight",the 2 spare
Blackdogs came out very easily. I have handled the other types but have
never shot them so I do not know their accuracy potential. I never shot
from the bench--just offhand,so I know the SIG is extreme in the accuracy
dept. The SIG is extremely cool looking and the frontend is not "plastique."
Everything is solid and that style stock feels much better then the tubes.
The SIG does cost more but if your budget can live with it--get one.

I have fired two of the sigs and they are nice. They have a very solid feel to them and the two I tested operated flawlessly. I only shot at 20yrds so I cannot say I did much of an accuracy test but at that range you could hardly miss. I do not like the triggers. They suck big time to me. Other than that, I thought they were awesome and your swat model has even more bling! That said, I went GSG5 and M&P 15-22, along with the obligatory 6 to 7 custom 10/22s
