Anybody have a High Standard duramatic ?

I have been working on a basket case 5" Duramatic m-101 that was given to me.. I have got most the wrinkles straightened out, She will feed and fire now. Only thing left is the front sight. Somewhere along the way somebody ground the front site nearly flush. I'm hoping a fellow Calgunner can tell me what height the front site is. My plane is to weld a newly fashioned sight on the numb that is left.
    Thank you guys.

This site is probably going to be your best bet- ask away on his message board:

A High Standard researcher's data about the Connecticut based High Standard company and its products including copies of memorabilia and manuals over the years 1932-1984.
