Did you go HM2 or 22? Either way you are gonna love it. I put a Mueller Tactical on mine with a cheapo Shooters Ridge bi-pod. Its quite the squirrel slayer. Definitely one of my favorite plinkers.

      i got the 22lr version.

it has the standard picatini/weaver rail, but in two sections || || like that, so i gotta figure out scope and rings.

looking about 100 bones, depends on if the wife puts the kibash on it. but depends if the scope comes with rings as well. maybe 150 bones at the top end.

Definitely go with the Mueller....the thing deservese some decent glass and a Mueller can be had for $125. Rings were easy....Walmart Bushnell rings. they are doing fine.

If I were to do it over I would have gone this route but I also went with a HM2 and the thing is flat out to 100 yrds so I really dont need the turrets unless Im really feeling like an "operator" Save the extra cash and buy some good ammo.

+1 on the Meuller, have an APV one my Savage .17hmr's. Great scope for the price. Another would prob be a Bushnell Banner, the glass is good for the price, but prefer the Meuller.

So, i have been doing some reading, i am looking for a scope that has focus down to 10 yds.

so with that in mind any ideas floating around out there? i havnt been able to determine the lowest focus range on the meuller. but i was looking at the http://swfa.com/Mueller-85-25x50-Era...ope-P9141.aspx
