    Great day at the Range

Took 4 of my childern to the Sunnyvale Rod & Gun Club to shoot their 10/22. Two of the girls had never shot a gun before, they had a blast. They were so excited when the went out to check their targets. I had forgot how much fun I used to have shooting when I was young.

before i would never go to the range without my S&W Model 41. now, i never go to the range without my kid.

he says he likes the eotech better than the scope.

Is that a nerf scope in his hand in that last pic?

I've been having a lot of fun teaching my daughter the 4 rules with a nerf rifle that has something like that on it...

yeah, it's from his nerf. though we play with the nerfs, i try to work in some gun safety aspects into it. i think they are great tools for teaching.

Nerf is where is all starts. I remember when my wife could not believe the boys would use anything that resembled a gun to play with. She could not stop it and had to give into nerfs. My wife insisted no real guns until they were teenagers to allow the real thing.
