    Uberti 1873 Stallion Opinions

Anyone have any experience with the Uberti 1873 Stallion revolvers? I have been looking for a single action 22 for a while and just havent found a gun I like yet, but was toying with the idea of buying one of the Uberti Stallions:

I have 2 Beretta Stampedes in .357 magnum. They have been very reliable.

Uberti makes the Stampedes for Beretta.

WOW....nice. Wish I could afford. Unfortunately I will have to stick with an Uberti or a Ruger for the time being.

Found a nice deal on an Uberti Stallion 22/22mag convertible. New packed in grease for $285 Now the 10 day starts before I can bust it out of the FFL slammer. Cant wait for the rimfire cowboy action to begin.

you did fine/ I have a pair of Cimarrons (Uberti Mfg); Model P Jr and Lightning

they're well made and reliable in .38 colt / spl so I'll bet they're terrific in 22LR

That's a nice looking single action - looks very close to a Colt Peacemaker 22. I wonder if the Colt grips would fit? The biggest problem I've had with fixed sight revolvers is making them shoot to "point of aim."

Any word on whether SASS plans to bring rimfire matches into the mainstream? Cause if they are, I'm sold on the Ubertis...

I dont think SASS will allow rimfire any time soon, except in the buckaroo class for kids. But what do I know. I hear Ruger will be offering a CAS class for their Rimfire Challenge series.
