    The tipoff is the little groove on top on the mount.. The entire mount is weaver... I'll see if I can get a pic one sec...

        Ahh, that's what "tip off" meant. I never could figure out that terminology. I use a Dednutz scope mount on my 10/22 - bought the mount from a Calgunner. I'd only use the OEM mount if I was switching from scope to red dot or had a Quick-Release scope rings.

          yea i have to same base on 2 of my 10/22's. Its nice because im not limited to rimfire rings.

                mine came with the base and its the plane jane wood / blued model and has the plastic trigger guard..

                  mine too came with it but i can see how you could miss it in the box. mine was wedged in the cardboard down in the corner and it took me a second to find it. if you dont have check the box or just let them know.
