Smith & Weson MP15 22LR mags

Does anyone know of a shop that has the 10 round mags for the new S&W 22? Every gun store I have called does not have them yet and is trying to get them.

A local shop owner I talked to said that every month since September S&W has said "in a month, in a month, in a month" and never delivered.

I've heard your options are to buy the rifle and use it as a single-shot, or find an out-of-state gunsmith to pin a 25-round magazine to 10 round capacity.

or find an in state dealer with a hi cap permit that'll limit it to 10 rounds

Just ordered mine too. The other thing I did was purchase two "repair" kits from www.44mag.com They ship the mag disassembled to restricted states. Then I bought these ebay restrictor pieces that slide into the mag for $5 a pop. I will let you all know how well they work when they come. Ill post some pictures next week when I get them.

rrages has them again, just ordered three and waiting for them. They are the 25 rounders restricted to 10 rounds...can't wait!

Thanks for the link. I went straight to ebay and picked up 2 of those limiters to try out. Now to 44mag.com for rebuild kits.

Triple A's Sporting Goods in Vallejo just got a case load. Picked up 2 extra mags there when I picked up my rifle. $25 each. These 10rd magazine don't have the follower assist so you need a screwdriver or something to help load them. The rifle seams to like Federal, gone through about 100 rounds with no issues.

THe Gun Vault in Mountain View ca (Bay Area) has ten rounders in stock straight from S&W. They are 24.99. I saw them in person and bought 2 for myself. They have the blue follower.
