Marlin 39A or Henry Frontier Octagonal?

Looking to buy a lever .22 soon. Narrowed it down to two:

    Marlin 39A
    -or-
    Henry Frontier Octagonal Barrel

    Opinions?

I just picked up a Henry H003T pump, it's BEEEYOOOTIFUL!!!!! I didn't like the lever guns (any of them), forearms too thin. Marlin has better metal, not so good trigger, expensive. Henry has cheesier metal, but slick action, looks great, shoots great, less $$$, teriffic support. You can't go wrong with either one.

I like my C&R Marlin 39A. Super accurate, but yes, it's got a skinny 'ol forearm, but it's a Marlin!!!
I'm not having a glass of wine, I'm having SIX. It's called a tasting and it's classy.

Between those two, I vote for the Marlin every time.

          I'm a fanboy, I admit it.

I have both - the 39A is my favorite, especially with the Williams FP sight on the receiver. The Henry is the Golden Boy model; it cycles smoother and faster than the Marlin, but the barrel mounted buckhorn rear sight is tough on middle age eyes. I wouldn't kick either one out of my safe...

A buddy of mine has a Henry Golden Boy. We were hitting a 4" steel plate at 150yards using Remington bulk ammo with iron sights. The action is smooth and finish on the reciever and barrel is real nice.
