    Hoppes Elite Products?

A couple years ago, Hoppes sent me a sample and I'm just getting around to reading the literature and thinking about trying it on my Colt/Umarex M4 .22LR. I looked for it in a couple of stores recently and they aren't stocking it. Does anyone know if it "didn't go over" or what? Is it available in your area? - have you tried it? - any opinions one way or the other on it?

The only one I tried was the oil, which I didnt like at all. Way too thin and doesnt lube nearly as well as others I have tried. That said, for certain guns (especially 1911s, Wilson Combat oil is the best you can get.
Will trade liquor/wine/beer for parts and accesories and ammo! PM me. Dont drink n shoot. Offer void where prohibited. Must be 21 or older, etc. etc.

I reluctantly purchased a bottle of the water-soluble Elite solvent for cleaning my GSG-5 and was amazed at how well it actually worked.

Walmart doesn't carry it here. Sounds like it's still being made - I'll check Michael's of Oregon website and see if I can find anything on it. Any other comments on the cleaners would be greatly appreciated. It's supposed to attack deep down carbon fouling on older bores, and allow metal deposits to be released. Sounds good anyway! I could scan the literature that came with the sample and post it, if anyone is interested. Does Calguns allow uploads, or does it have to be hosted somewhere else and then linked to?

Hoppe's Elite is the same stuff as M Pro 7 cleaner. Great stuff for removing carbon on semi autos.
