Sig 522 swat rail availible?

[slik442]

Just dros'd a 522 today...Really wanted a swat version, but missed the boat. Is the swat style rail gonna be avail for purchase as a part in the future? Anyone know something I dont?

I have heard the answer in no for now at least. Also, just an FYI - if they do start selling it, the cost will probably be very high (like around $300). Why not just get the rail set for the Swiss style handguard? You could also easily modify the handguard to accept a top rail.
