trigger pins walking out from my ciener kit? Why?

So I was out at Sac valley today. helping a buddy with his fiirst AR ( shot GREAT!).

I also took my own beater AR out ( with its fresh new camo paintjob ) and tried the ciener kit in it.

Now, Ive shot the 223 and 5.56 woth no issues in this same rifle before. But today, after about 40 rds of Federal 22 HPs, the trigger pins started to walk out a little. I popped it back in place and figured it was a fluke.

But about 30 rds later, I had a malfunction, pins walked out about 1/4 in and the trigger was bound up inside.

My question - do I need to do something special with the pins since its a 22 ciener bolt? or is my luck just reminding me what bad feels like?

You might want to check out a set of these.

Bravo Company USA, Inc is your source for the highest quality parts, & tactical accessories for your AR-15, M16, M4 Carbine

I have them on my standard setup AR because I witnessed someone else running into the same thing.

This is only one size there is another size so you will have to check what size you need. Also there are other sites that have these in stock.

      Thanks for the info.

Has anyone else experienced this with a ciener kit? I just cant see how this conversion can force these pins out of 556 cant ???

Is your hammer spring on top of your trigger pin? (in the notch)

I've seen them underneath when someone installs the hammer first...

        Just sayin...

I would not say common, but I have had it happen a few of my lowers and have seen it talked about on other forums.
I use KNS antiwalk pins on my lowers that I plan to use 22lr uppers/kits on.

On a side note, I have also seen hammer pins snap in 22lr builds.....

Nope, but I can see how someone might do that thier first time.

Mine sit on top and the "leg" of the hammer spring sits down in the pin's groove on one side. I tried to push it over with my finger a little and it sits down in there pretty good.

I just cant see how this pin is comming loose?
