What is this magazine for?

I've had this thing in my "random gun stuff" box for years and I don't know what it fits.



The finish is really really rough, it's heavier than hell, the follower is green and its marked with 5 and 10 round marks on the side shown. I compared it to a bunch of stuff on gunbroker and the closest I could find was a hi standard magazine, if I remember right.

ruger mkII or a browning buck mark, i'm leaning towards the buck mark since the assist knob is on the right.

looks like a mag for a High Standard to me...i'm basing that on the long baseplate. definately not a Ruger

Definitely not a Ruger - I have one and the base plate is too long.

i was thinking Ruger or buckmark but because of the long floorplate i'm thinking Buckmark over ruger.....not familiar with hi standard.

Looks like an aftermarket reproduction mag for a colt woodsman (post war) but could be high standard...

not a factory mag either way.

I knew it wasn't a Ruger Mk I or II 'cause I've got both. Didn't think of the buckmark and the assist knob being on the right threw me off.

Actually, I think I need one. I'll have to check out my original Hi Standard to see if that will fit.

Hi Standard slant grip magazine. It looks like the mag for my Model B. It won't work with the Military grip models.
