beretta 87 target?

hey folks I actually just found out about this nice little pistol the other day,
saw it on the for sale section but the price tag was I think around 800$.

thought it was a bit high, but in case it does sell and I end up looking for a new one somewhere,

anyone know where I can find one of these? or if they are really hard to come by? they look pretty nice and great reviews so far.



the 87 target is what I am looking for but maybe even the 87 cheetah

I've seen one for sale at "The Range" in Fresno CA a while back, I believe for around 8 something, it was over $800 I know that for sure as I was too taken back by the price tag. It's a cool looking pistol, kind of Robocop looking.

How far are you from Fullerton CA?

although now I am looking at either a ruger mark 3 hunter, or the 87 beretta target.



beretta more expensive, and the ruger is a proven solid .22 pistol.

i have almost bought one several times, but a couple things stopped me; first, the trigger sucks compared to a smith and wesson 41 and the price is awfully close to it. second, while the gun us extremely sexy (as are all berettas imo) i find the grip a bit small. i ended up buying a lightweight buckmark contour for about half the price. --neill

The 87 is a target style gun, the 89 is the real deal. The major difference is the trigger.

I have an 87 Cheetah and I LOVE it. My friend has the 87 Target and the trigger is just not very good. Waaaay too much overtravel. More than my Cheetah. So much so, it hampers precision. Neat looking pistol though.
