    Tony Kidd ruined me

I don't know how I can even touch another trigger now. Got the note from the mailman yesterday, pick up at the post office today, canceled lunch date, 30 seconds of "smithing" to drop in the trigger, then 525 rounds of joy. This thing really is incredible. Probably the best money I've ever spent on any gun part. I only had bulk remington so I couldn't really shoot for absolute precision, but everything about the trigger was absolutely flawless.

I got the 7oz/14oz version which took a bit of getting used to for standing shots, but it was perfect seated and prone. I'll probably drop this one into my heavy barrel "bench" 10/22 and get another one set a bit heavier with my next paycheck for my lightweight three-position plinker. I do feel a bit ridiculous putting a $300 trigger in a $200 gun, but after today, that plastic piece of **** trigger certainly will never be used again.

I'm hoping to be back up at Chabot on Monday the 28th if anyone wants to try it out.

I am glad you like the new trigger. Please feel free to send the plastic piece of sh.t trigger to me. I love spare parts...
Some day maybe I will have the balls to pull the trigger, so to speak and spend more on the trigger.
Anyway have a great time with the new feel to your rifle...
    And have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I know the feeling. I swapped my stock 2007 Ruger trigger group for a VQ2000 assembly and could not believe the difference!

I less than no doubt the Kidd setup is excellent as well.

      Fun, huh?

Good thing upgrades/mods don't make much difference from stock, huh? At least that's what I've heard/read some think anyways.

Tony Kidd makes some unbelievable trigger groups that you have to use to believe... Even Bill Springfield trigger jobs makes a stock trigger feel like a bag of rocks.

Congratulations on your new purchase and Merry Christmas!

then you definitely don't want to drop one of those in an x-ring with a tacsol barrel and evolution stock.
