Ruger 10/22

I am going to purchace a 10/22 for my daughter. We looked at a Ruger 10/22 with wood stock today at Big 5. On sale for $230 or around that price.
I know Ruger has the Carbine, Compact, Target Tactical and Sporter models.
Not sure what the Big 5 10/22 is.
My question is if the action and internal workings are all the same on Ruger 10/22's
Is the main difference the type of stock and material used?

All 10/22s are the same, just the barrels, sights and stocks are different.
All interchangeable at a later date or as needed.
If your daughter is younger / smaller, maybe try to find the CRR "youth" model with the slightly shorter length of pull and 16" barrel.
