I put on my new green mountain barrel and overmolded stock and took it to the range twice, and I am having some problems, so far I shot it twice and I have had failure to fire 1 out of every 20 rounds on average, I am pretty sure this is way to many failures, I have only had one failure to fire out the bolt action .22, we shot the same ammo out of both of them and shot about 500 rounds out of each.
When it fails to fire I have to stick a cleaning rod down the barrel and pop it out. I cleaned the barrel twice and the chamber with a wire brush and that didn't help.
I was using Remington gold bullet bulk pack and some Armscor bulk pack. I think I might take it to a gunsmith, the barrel seems lined up and I am pretty sure it is fully seated, I don't see any gaps between the barrel and receiver but I am still having problems. The extractor fits into the gap on the barrel fine and doesn't rub or anything.
