I could have bought 5 for that price! I just got a NIB GSG for 420 shipped about a month ago...

            The GSG-5P is $599 and the GSG-5 is $1999.

Maybe they have a sloppy webmaster and it's a typo?

But still, I would rather live where price is determined by demand & desire than somewhere it isn't.
At least I know there will be stock on the shelves for the most part.
The shelves can get rather bare in the price controlled socialistic marketplaces.

Yeah, but who knows at what price? Everyone knows that HK is less that no friend to the civilian market.

How much is HK going to demand for their licensed version of the MP-5 in .22LR? I would not for a second be surprised if they are going to demand $1K each.

H&K airsofts don't carry that kind of premium over other branded airsoft models, so I can't imagine that Umarex would agree to that kind of deal for rimfire firearms. I expect to see the popular models priced similarly to the Colt-licensed rimfire ARs they recently released.

They make it very clear that they have no intention of gouging Californian though. BTW, if someone wants to pay their price, it's between the buyer and seller. If you don't want to pay that much, go buy one from someone else. I know I did.

I would never pay that much for a 22LR plinker, no matter how tactical it looks. One of the main reasons for a 22 is economical shooting. You have lost all that by paying so much for the gun. To each his own I guess.
