I was the recipient of awesome customer service from Spikes Tactical. So I figured the least I could do is share and give them a positive plug.
Back in March 2009, I purchased a .22lr dedicated conversion barrel for my LMT MRP. I never put it through "hard use" and it wasn't used very frequently (.223 was just too much fun) but I put several hundred rounds down the pipe.
8 months later at the end of November 2009 I was cleaning the barrel and noticed a circular burr inside the bore rifling about 5 inches back from the muzzle. I called them up and they told me to send it in to "check out". It arrived at Spikes Tactical on a Thursday and the following Monday I received an email stating they shipped a package to me. I thought to myself, really? They've only had it for 1 business day.
I open the package to find a brand spanking new barrel and a hand-full of stickers thrown in for good measure. Considering the several months I owned and used the barrel they could have easily blown me off, but instead went above and beyond by replacing it with a new one. I will definitely be a return customer based on this experience!
