S&W 15-22 Magpul Moe grip help

Searching for information about how this grips works on the 15-22 and found out that there is an ugly gap between the web area and the underside of the receiver...the shape of the 15-22 is not identical to a true AR receiver!

I went ahead and orderd the Moe grip because I don't like the typical skinny AR grip but I was wondering if anyone has one on their rifle and how did you fill the gap at the web. I did find that Magpul makes a wedge insert for the SR25 rifle, look here http://westernsportonline.com/index....7195aa8db7a800

Does anyone know if this wedge works with the Moe grip?

I read a thread of ar15.com where Travis Haley discusses how he fixed the problem on his M&P15 22. I wasn't able to track it down but if I remember correctly, he had to do some dremel work.

Tango Down Battlegrip, Magpul MIAD (slim fit strap) & Hogue are all perfect match... with Moe you will need a wedge insert...

Magpul MIAD & Hogue are both perfect match...

The grips with the taller web don't fit perfect. Look closely and you will see a gap. I'm hoping to find a close-up that shows it better. This is not my gun btw, just a pic I found on the internet.
