    Tactical Crickett

I just picked up my little girl's pink Crickett rifle today and I got to thinking that this was the perfect platform upon which to build.

First off something needs to be done with the stock. A pink laminated AK style underfolder would be a good start. Next we need to braze on a bayonet lug. I think that to keep in in scale I'll go with that Ka-Bar pistol bayonet. Next up is a serrated breacher style muzzle brake / flash supressor. I'll hold off on getting a can until we move someplace civilized like Arizona. I'm not a big fan of vertical foregrips but my baby might be so I'll probably select one of the shorties that are out there on teh interwebz. Of course no tacticool killing machine is complete without a light and optics. Scale is important so I'll have a clamp made so that I can mount a Surefire E1B led light down around the 4 O'clock position. (Keeps the light from reflecting back at you on the smoke). Any of the red dots from aimpoint would be a fine topper but I really like the way the Elcan Specters look. $1900 might seem a bit steep to slap on top of a $160 rifle but I think it just might be worth it.

It's too bad I can't photoshop , cause I really would like to see what it looks like before I get started.

Make sure that the overall length with the stock folded is greater than 26" or else you will have made a SBR.

I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

After all, how many shots do you need at the mall?.

You are wasting your time with the Elcan, go Trijicon. All the kids are talking about it.

I would accessorize the little love with one of these.

Nothing says I love you like tactical pink.
