    Ruger SR-22

I just picked up a Ruger SR-22. I need your suggestion on an aftermarket trigger. I do not want to send it out.
I tried the search function and did not find an answer.
    Thanks in advance.

If you don't want to spend a bundle get a volquartson target hammer. It will drop a stock 10/22 trigger down to 3lbs. or less and break much cleaner. You can get it here with free shipping. Mark

Thanks guys. I will decide on either the volquartsen or kid. Anyone care to weigh in on the pros and cons on the two?

First off what kind of barrel does ruger use on the sr-22? Is it a standard 10/22 barrel with a flash hider or is it a target barrel that's going to shoot little tiny groups. If ruger uses standard barrels I guess you need to ask your self how much do you want spend on the trigger and will it be worth it to you. Mark

I just spoke to Mary Kidd and she stated that the KiDD trigger is not a true drop in on the Ruger SR-22. Has anyone experienced this??
                        Thanks again....

Not sure what she means except that you do have to take the 10/22 receiver out of the Nordic shell. After that, it's just punch two pins and swap trigger groups.

I tried asking her. She said that one of their customers had to make an "adjustment" to the trigger to make it fit. She could not elaborate. She also stated that VQ also needs to make an adjustment on their trigger as well. She is using that as her validation that KiDD needs an adjustment as well.
I am hoping that someone experienced this on their SR-22.

No idea. The SR-22 is a stock 10/22 in a Nordic kit.

Once you pull the chassis off, you have a standard 10/22 receiver to work with (not counting the top rail portion).

If their triggers drop into a 10/22, it should drop into the SR-22. Above photo was taken when I dropped in my Hornet trigger.
