    GSG 1911 22lr

Any one know if and when this pistol will ever be available?? It was to be released last September but to this day American Tactical is playing "Micky the Dunce"

The important question is, has GSG submitted the pistol to the CA drop test for approval onto the safety roster? If it's not on the roster, nobody will be selling it in CA.

Doubtful, I don't see how it could possibly meet the current requirements of the Roster.

"An extended slide stop is the second most useless part you can put on a 1911"

"While Ruger DA revolvers may be built like a tank, they have the aesthetics of one also,
although I suppose there are a few tanks which I owe an apology to for that remark"

Isn't Calguns working on getting the roster repealed?

The GSG 1911 does not have a CA DOJ approved chamber load indicator and does not have a magazine disconnect. Both of which are required in order to be submitted for testing to be placed on the approved list.

Yes. There is a lawsuit pending, but the courts take time, don't expect an outcome for another 1-2 years.
