    WASR-22/PSL Project Finally Done

I finally picked up a new dust cover and swapped out the scope for an LPS from a PSL. I get the craziest looks when I take this rifle out. Most people eyes open up wide when I say its a .22. Im always asked where they can buy one and when I say its one of a kind, I then get offers. LOL

Started out as a WASR-22. I then took a PSL gas tube and cut it down, rewelded it to the proper length and shaped it. I moved the front gas block forward so that it was just behind the front sight. I had to move the lower handguard retainer forward but because the barrel tapered down by that point I had to build a bushing for it. I then found a PSL brake and built a bushing for it so that it could mount on the end of the barrel. Finally I put on a set of PSL furniture that I refinished and modified the 7.62 mag to accept the 22 insert. Took a few weeks to do all of the work, but it was worth every minute of it.

Here is before and after on the magazines
