    Help with scope selection

I've got a Savage93FV .17hmr and I've narrowerd it down to the Pentax Gameseeker Rifle Scope 1.5-6x 40mm Precision Plex Reticle Matte for about 129 or the Bushnell 22 Rimfire Rifle Scope 3-9x 32mm Mutli-X Reticle with Rings Matte for about 40$.I intend to do ground squirrle work and paper shooting with the hopes of working out to 175-200yds with practice. Is the differance in price worth it?I have heard good thing about the bushy but nothing about the pen are they any good? All input welcomed .Thanks

Over at RFC, the Mueller APV 4.5-14 for $115 gets rave reviews. I own two, and I must say it's a great scope for the money.

1.5-6 is not enough mag for 175 to200 yards on small critters IMHO. The 3-9 are barely enough. You will want an adjustable objective due to the distance and small target. Look at side AO adjustment it is easier.
Check out Mueller's new scopes. Over on rimfirecentral the folks are in a tissey fit over them. I vote Weaver, anything, it will last a life time but cost more than the rifle.
