I have a NAA mini revolver with a 1 5/8" barrel with both the .22 Mag and .22lr cylinders. It's quite comfy with the oversized grips from the Black Widow. I also have the holster grip which is larger but has a clip to look kinda like a knife or pager in your pocket. It's plenty large to get a good grip on while shooting. I wouldn't worry too much about the sights, this pistol is not designed that way. It's a point and shoot, short range type of gun. Practice with the .22lr so it's cheaper but carry with the .22 mag. Just remember, you only have 5 rounds and reloading is very slow.

I've had a 22mag with 1 1/8 bbl for about four years. I've shot at least 300 round through it. The thing is fun to shoot! Never dropped it and I have big hands. The technique is the index finger holds the grip and "the bird" finger pulls the trigger. The pistol is reliable, never any problems. I can reliably hit a 9 inch plate at 3 - 5 yds, no problem... really it is not made for anything but last ditch defence. IMHO much, much better than a knife, fists or nothing at all. The pistol can be carried with absolute discretion in almost any kind of clothing... maybe without... depending on personal attributes and degree of desperation...yuck. The mag is significantly more powerful than a 22 long rifle round, particularly so with the super short barrel. NAA arms has several charts on their site showing energy and bullet speed comparing various NAA pistols. Would I rather have the NAA 380 yes but its always a trade off, size, weight. BTW kinda of a cool movie Tango Assassin (Robert Dinero?) where guy uses NAA mag up close. I hope that helps

No gun is a toy and to call them that is just wrong
If Im not mistaken the .22 is involved in more fatal gun shot wounds than any other calibur so to say the .22 isnt a viable round is to deny the statistics.
If I were to get a NAA id go with the pug and a .22 conversion cylinder for cheap practice.
Anything larger you might as well go with a semi-auto
I have a Beretta Tomcat in 32ACP.
Yes its a BS round for anything other than last ditch but its better than nothing.

Very safe single action that will fit in any pocket. I have the 22 mag version and I carry it in my tackle box when I go fishing. For self defence it's better than a stick. My friends and I have had great shooting matches with it. Although I must confess that a beer can at twenty feet is about all I can hit with it on a consistant basis.

With a 1" barrel and minimal sight radius? That is truly impressive. Nice shooting. How's the blast and recoil of a 22WMR off of a 1" barrel? It must sting.

I have a 22lr 1 1/8 barrel version; I installed the holster grip and now I can almost get all four fingers on the grip. It's a novelty gun and a good conversation piece at the range. Fun gun to shoot.
