    Umarex MP5A5, MP5SD and HK 416 (.22LR) pictures

Some information and pictures of them:

Umarex is also manufacturing .22 LR carbines patterned on the famous MP5 and MP5SD.These carbines features …

Apparently, they will come with the collapsible stock as a standard. Solid stocks will be sold separately (opposite of what GSG did it).

Looking forward to seeing how it preforms and feels.

Hopefully it will be just as good or better than the GSG-5.

The fake suppressor on the non-SD model does look nicer than the standard GSG-5 though.

Link with some pics about the HK 416 .22 clone:

The MP5 isn't looking so nice in this one.

That makes me want to wait on the M&P15-22, and for sure on a GSG.

I would assume close to GSG pricing as all that really changed is the distributor.

Yeah the suppressor doesn't look as funky as the GSG's. Plus the retractable stock from factory is killer.

Although we have no price point yet, I'm betting in the $600-$700 range like the Colt/Umarex AR.

I saw on another site pricing around $500, but until they're actually shipping them who knows?

I'm not a big fan of the collapsible stock, I'd rather have the navy stock that the GSG-5 comes with. I have an airsoft MP5 w/ similar stock and there's just no cheek weld.

What's this business about compensators? .22's don't build up enough pressure for a compensator to work, do they?

                      And where is the MP7???

You do realize they are almost identical, made by the same company, right? HK does not make these.

I am pretty sure these are made by Walther like the Colt rather than GSG.

I think I might have preferred the solid stock to be standard as well. Then again, I would want all the evil features as possible in my .22... just because I can.

They are not made by the same company. The GSG5 was made by German Sport Guns and imported by American Tactical Imports.

The new wave of MP5 clones will be manufactured by Umarex under license from Heckler & Koch.
