NEED HELP Marlin MODEL 15 YN owners

I have a problem with Marlin [not a bad problem ] the model 15YN I have has a rear sight that you adj with a screw driver for the elevation adjustment. Marlin says no what they did not put it on. what I would like to know from the owners out there is what type of sight you have, the one like mime or the old stand by of a ramp that you push to adj. the elevation. also I need your frist 3 numbers of the ser # [it tells you the year of MFG.] so please take a MIN an help me out the gun's were MFG 1988 to 2003 , need the frist 3 numbers even if they are zero's. send me a PM or add to this thread

Hello, Mine is not a 15YN just a 15Y. It has the standard style sight, no screw adjustment involved. Ser. # 156xxxxx. I hope this is of some help even though not an exact match of model. If you could post a picture of your rear sight perhaps someone could identify if it is an aftermarket type.
