I recently dug up an old .22 that I bought back in high schoo. The wood stock is balanced and beautiful still but the rest of the gun is VERY dirty and starting to corrode. The clip is broken and doesnt feed right. the screws to mount a rail for a scope are stripped. the local gunshop I frequent told me it would be about 120 bucks to get it all cleaned, polished, rail monted and a new clip. Worth doing or should I just buy a new .22? .22 rifles are not that expensive so I figured might be worth it to just spend a bit more and get a new one....thoughts? not much sentimental value more of a weighing of options to get something I can use on the 100 yard range.
